Due to high fire danger, we have activated Fire Safety Settings on power lines throughout our service territory. This important safety feature may cause more frequent and longer-lasting outages.
Our system is set up so that we are aware of most outages right when they happen.
The outage map displays information about most, but not all, confirmed outages. Hover over the circles on the map for more detailed information.
The loss of power could be a tripped breaker or blown fuse. A tripped breaker can be reset by tripping it all the way off and tripping it back on. Fuses should be replaced by a new fuse with the same amp rating. Your circuit breakers or fuses are housed in a main panel box which could be located inside or outside your house.
The map shows real-time information about most current outages.
If your breakers and fuses all look ok and you don’t see an outage in your area on the map, please use the form below to report an outage.
Report an Outage
You can greatly lessen the impact of a power outage by taking the time to prepare in advance. You and your family should be prepared to cope on your own during a power outage for at least 72 hours.
Our wholesale power arrives from the Front Range and north-central Colorado over large transmission lines operated by Xcel Energy.
Occasionally, outages on these lines occur that are beyond our control. We have built-in redundancy to prevent most of these from affecting you, but during line maintenance, redundancy can sometimes reduced, and an outages can occur.
